Cheats For X3

"X3: The Reunion" is a PC space combat and trading simulator that was released in 2005. At the beginning of the game, you'll pick a role, such as mercenary, trader or cadet. You'll then embark on missions throughout a vast galaxy with 130 sectors. With so much space to explore, you'll want to activate and customize the SETA autopilot system to cut down on wait times. Unlockable game script and galaxy editors will allow you to design levels and upload mods to the Egosoft website that can be shared with others.

Script Editor and Galaxy Editor
- To unlock the script editor and galaxy editor, navigate to the pilot name change menu. To unlock the script editor, change your player's name to "Thereshallbewings." For the galaxy editor, change the name to "Makeanapplepiefromscratch." These codes are case-sensitive.
Sector Map
- From your ship, press the "." key to open the sector map. A white arrow will tell you your ship's direction, much like a galactic GPS system. When you've found a destination, select it with the "T" key. You can now use the autopilot option by pressing "shift + D."
SETA Settings
- Think of SETA as a fast-forward button. Once you have activated your autopilot, you can get to your destination quicker by enabling SETA from the menu in your ship. The default setting is %600. From the options menu, set SETA to %1000 to speed up the trip to your destination.
Combat Tips
- Missile selection is important in "X3," and it will determine your dogfighting style. Keep a good supply of Silkworm missiles on hand; these are faster and harder to shoot down than the cheaper Hornet variety. With a missile corvette, you can jump away from the enemy and attack from a ranged distance. Start manufacturing your own missiles if your combat style involves heavy use of the corvette.
