Warcraft 2 Shareware Version Cheats

"Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness" can be a challenging game, especially to someone who has never played a real-time strategy game. Before paying for the game, you can try the shareware version, which has six exclusive scenarios, along with the option to purchase the full version. Cheat codes will make it much easier to defeat either the dreaded orcs or the noble human forces.

Instantly Win or Lose the Scenario
- At the end of each scenario there is a short cut scene. View these without playing the level by entering one of the following codes. Hit "Enter" and type "UNITE THE CLANS" to instantly win the level and take you to the victory cut scene, or hit "Enter" and type "YOU PITIFUL WORM" to instantly lose and view the loss cut scene.
God Mode
- If you want to feel like a god and pound on your enemies with no fear of retribution, or if you've played the level a hundred times and just want to get on with the game, hit "Enter" and type "IT IS A GOOD DAY TO DIE." All of your units and buildings will instantly become invincible. Repeat the process to turn the mode off.
Getting More Resources
- There are a couple of codes for resources. These are especially handy if you are low on resources or want to build a lot of units in a hurry. Hit "Enter" and type in one of the following codes. "GLITTERING PRIZES" will add gold, lumber and oil to your stockpile. "VALDEZ" will increase the amount of oil in your stockpile. "HATCHET, AXE AND SAW" will increase the amount of lumber each of your units harvests when chopping down trees.
Unit Upgrades
- The key to victory is for your units to annihilate opposing units. You can build units quickly in the shareware version by hitting "Enter" and typing "MAKE IT SO." Upgrade all your units to the most powerful by hitting "Enter" and typing "DECK ME OUT." Upgrade everything by hitting "Enter" and typing "UPGRADE."
