Using the in-game console in "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" allows players to make profound changes to their character at any point in the game. Changing characters allows you to test out new character builds, experiment with sign-specific abilities or undo a mistake in character creation, all without starting a new game. Although some console commands have complex and unpredictable effects, changing your character's star sign is relatively straightforward. The console is only available in the PC version of "Oblivion." X-Box 360 players cannot change their star signs.
