How to Turn off Freewill in The Sims 2: Double Deluxe

Sims in "The Sims Double Deluxe," which is a repackaging of the Sims 2 base game with the Nightlife and the Celebration Stuff add-on, come with freewill. Sometimes, be it for machinima, story telling or for nefarious reasons you just need to turn off freewill.

Instructions

  1. Turn Off Freewill in The Sims 2 or The Sims Double Deluxe

      Start the The Sims 2 game. Navigate to the Options menu. It's located on the bottom left of the screen and has three dots.

      Click on Game Options in The Sims 2 Options menu.

      Click the box that says Freewill On/Off. As long as the box is checked freewill is off.

    • 4

      Save your game. This is optional depending on how long you need free will off.
