How to Impress Spore Tribes

In the PC hit "Spore," you will have evolved from a tiny cell into a terrestrial creature walking on dry land before entering the Tribal stage of the game. The focus of the Tribal stage moves from your individual "Spore" creation's tale of survival to the survival of an entire tribe of budding intelligent creatures. Other tribes in the area will also be emerging, and while some may appreciate your tribe, others will want to kill them on sight. Impressing and making friends with other tribes may be the only way to live through the Tribal stage of "Spore."

Instructions

  Look at the colored face icon displayed when you click on a member of another tribe. If the face icon is a green or blue smiley face, the tribe already likes yours and you don't need to do anything to impress them.

  Equip your tribe with wearable items that raise their social skills to make impressing other tribes easier. Examples of items that improve a tribe's social skills include the "Ultra-Fez," "Tiki Gamba Mask" and "Tunic of Virtue."

  Approach tribes with yellow-, orange- and red faced-icons with caution. These are the tribes you will need to impress.

  Give offerings of food baskets to improve your friendship with yellow-, orange- and red-faced tribes.

  Send tribe members that know how to play musical instruments to these tribes to entertain and impress them. Bring along three or four tribesmen along with the musicians to ensure their safety if things turn sour.

  Equip the musicians with the three types of instruments -- horns, maracas and didgeridoos. Have them play the requested instruments at the right times as indicated by icons in the target tribe's speech balloons.
