How to Enter Cheats on the Sims

"The Sims" is a life simulation game developed by Maxis and originally released for the PC, and a highly modified version was later released for the PlayStation 2. There are a number of in-game cheats you can use with The Sims. One of the cheats involves automatically adding money to your Sim's bank account. To enter cheats, you'll need to bring up the cheat menu.

Instructions

  Click the "Play" button on the lower control panel to switch to "Live Mode," if the game is currently paused.

  Push "Shift," "Ctrl" and "C" simultaneously on your keyboard. You see a box appear on the top of the screen.

  Type your cheat into the box and hit "Enter." The cheat you entered will automatically activate. For example, if you want to use the cheat for for 1,000 Simoleons (Sim dollars), type "klapaucius" if the game is unpatched, or "rosebud" if the game is patched. If you aren't sure, use both.
