How to Beat the Last Titan on Titan Quest

"Titan Quest" for the PC pits you against Greek mythological creatures as you fight your way through several different locations based on Greek lore. The game offers co-op modes, an online element and a lengthy single-player adventure. At the end of the single-player game, when you reach the summit of Mount Olympus, you encounter Typhon, a fire-breathing monster that can prove quite challenging to even the most skilled player.

Instructions

Regeneration Shrine Strategy

  Ensure your character has 350 armor.

  Grab the first battle marker as soon as you enter the fighting area, then head to the masteries shrine.

  Run to the regeneration shrine, while getting Typhon to follow you.

  Get on the stairs and ensure Typhon is right in front of you.

  Activate the regeneration shrine. You should be immune from his fire breath, and the shrine will heal his attacks.

  Stand there and attack him. Use potions in the shrine isn't healing you fast enough.

  Chase after him and draw him back to the regeneration shrine if he runs away from you.
General Strategy
- 8
  Keep moving. Typhon's fire breath will do more damage to you if you are standing still.

  Activate the shrines. Clockwise from the south, the shrines are: masteries, energizing, regeneration, frostbite, battle marker and thorn.

  Attack Typhon while he is breathing fire if you are a melee character. You should be able to get in a couple of hits while he's breathing fire. Having burning, bleeding or poison damage abilities will help.

  Stay far away from Typhon and use spells or long-range weapons if you are a spell caster or ranged fighter. Run away if he gets close.

  Be patient and keep your distance when necessary. Keep whittling away at him until he dies.
