How to Pass Level 8-4 in Luxor

"Luxor" is a puzzle game for the PC in which players must try to stop a chain of balls from entering a hole. This is done by lining up like-colored balls. In the 8-4 level, entitled "Khufu's Revenge," players must stop the balls from entering the pyramid of Khufu.

Instructions

- 1
  Shoot like-colored balls at the chain as soon as it comes through the entryway. Your goal is to keep the chain as close to the top of the level as possible, because if the chain is close to the top, you will receive better balls.

  Shoot the fireballs as soon as you get them. This will eliminate a large chunk of the chain without lining up like-colored balls.

  Save the lightning power up when you receive it. When the chain begins to snake down the right side of the screen, use the lightning power up to eliminate that entire section of the chain.

  Keep the chain out of the tunnel at all costs. If the chain enters the tunnel, it becomes very difficult to hit, and the balls you are given become increasingly useless.
- 5
  Continue to eliminate balls in the chain with like-colored balls and power ups. Eliminate all of the balls in the chain to finish the level.
