How to Use the Hacking Tool in Alien Vs. Predator 2

In "Aliens vs. Predator 2" you play as a space marine trying to survive after being caught in the middle of a battle between two vicious alien species. In the single-player mode you will often need to use a hacking device to bypass door locks so they will open. The hacking device is also sometimes used to hack control panels to progress through the mission.

Instructions

- 1
  Press a button near a door while facing it to try to open it. Hit the "E" key on your keyboard for the "Use" command that will press this button.

  Watch for a small panel to appear on the door. If the door must be hacked, this icon will appear to let you know the lock must be bypassed.
- 3
  Pull out your hacking device by pressing the "H" key to run a bypass on the door. This usually takes a few seconds, and then the door will be unlocked.
- 4
  Repeat Step 3 if you encounter a control panel that needs hacking. An icon will appear to let you know you must run a bypass.
