Hacks for Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the PC

"Need for Speed: Most Wanted" continues the open ended style of game play that has become characteristic of the franchise. As with all of the Need for Speed games, realistic car handling and difficult tracks sometimes make it necessary for the average gamer to seek a little help. Fortunately, there are several shortcuts to the game's many hard to obtain achievements.

Cheat Codes
- When the "Click to Enter" screen appears, typing the following codes will give you the following benefits: "givemethegto" unlocks the Pontiac GTO, "iammostwanted" unlocks all cars, "burgerking" unlocks the Burger King Challenge and "castrol" unlocks the Castrol Syntec Ford GT.
Hacks
- Go to a shop and memorize how much money you have. Open your cheat engine (see "Resources"). Next, click on "Process" in the upper left corner. Scroll down the list and click on process "speed.exe." Type the amount of money you have into the text box underneath the "Value" label. After you have typed your money in, click the "First Scan" button. Wait for the process to complete, and minimize the cheat engine. Purchase something at the shop and the amount of money you have will decrease. Now minimize the game and maximize your cheat engine again. On your left you will see an "Entries" list, scroll down the list and click on the entry that displays your current amount of money after purchasing the part. After you have clicked on this number, an input box should appear. Type the amount of money you desire into this input box, and that is the amount of money that you will receive.
Trainers
- Trainers allow you to do such things as optimize graphics, increase how much money you have, set pursuit time to 45 minutes and never get busted (see "Resources"). As with any download, it is a good idea to scan the file for viruses before putting it on your computer.
