Cheats for Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore

Stage Changes

• To change the starting location on the "White Storm," "Demon's Church," "Crimson," "Burai Zenin" and "Dragon Hills" stages, press "Square" instead of "X" to select the level. This will cause the fight to start on the bottom half of these stages. On the "Aerial Garden" and "Iron Hell" stages, you can change the time of day. Press "Circle" instead of "X" to select either of these two levels.

Hairstyles and Victory Poses

• Two fighters, Helena and Kasumi, have extra hairstyles which can be toggled on the character selection screen. Select either Helena or Kasumi and press "Circle" to give them a long ponytail or braided ponytail respectively. Alternately, select them with "X" to give Helena a short ponytail or Kasumi a loose ponytail. To change the view on your victory pose, win a match and then, during your pose, press "Triangle." Use the digital pad to change the camera angle. Press "Square" to zoom in the camera or "Circle" to zoom out.

Alternate Costumes

• Each fighter has one or more alternate costumes which you can select from the character selection screen. While hovering over a specific character, you can see how many costumes that character possesses. If the character is on the top row of the selection screen, press "Up" on the analog stick to browse through her costumes. If she is on the bottom row, press "Down."

Extra Options, Credits and Gallery

• While in a match, press "Start" to pause the game, then press "Triangle" and "X" simultaneously to open the "Extra Options" menu. To unlock the expanded credits, complete the story mode with every character on the "Very Hard" difficulty. To unlock the CG Gallery, complete team mode with five different characters.

Play as Bayman and Tengu

• To unlock Bayman as a playable fighter, complete story mode with every character on the "Easy" difficulty, or complete story mode 30 times with any character. To unlock Tengu, collect 10 stars in survival mode or complete story mode 200 times with any character. Bayman and Tengu are playable in every mode except for story.

Uncensored Demo

• Select "Game Setting" from the "Options" menu, then select "Others." Set your age to 21 years or older, then play survival mode. Acquire a rank high enough to be entered on the high scores. For your name, enter "REALDEMO." Return to the title screen, then do nothing. The uncensored demo will eventually begin to play.
