Walkthrough for How to Beat Odion in Yu-Gi-Oh!: Capsule Monsters

"Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monster Coliseum" for the PS2 is a turn-based strategy game. Your character begins with a starter deck that improves with successful battles. You can place capsules on the map before a duel begins or summon your monsters during the battle. Odion resides in the Burning Earth Arena in Area 3. This is a free-run area and you can battle duelists in whatever order you choose.

Instructions

- 1
  Begin a new game. Since Odion's symbol is Earth, choose Dark for your symbol. Earth is weak against Dark. Assign action, power and monster points to your Earth symbol.

  Battle in coliseums to gain experience. Your monsters will gain levels and abilities. Use dark, thunder and water monsters whenever you can. These are the monster types you need to defeat Odion.

  Combine your monsters to make ones that are more powerful. Teach healing spells to other monsters on your team.

  Summon your monsters when the duel begins. These are more powerful than monsters released from capsules. The Capsule Monster Coliseum AI is predictable. It usually summons one monster and moves it across the board. Odion has the following monsters: 2 Hitotsu-me-giant, 2 Statue of Easter Island, Rock Orge Grotto, Skelengal and Fire Reaper.

  Defend against melee attacks. This is Odion's preferred means of engagement. Since his monsters are weak against your team, you have the advantage over him.
