Cheats for Sly Cooper Controls

"Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus," is a 3D platform game in which you play as the master thief, "Sly Cooper." Your main objective is to steal back his family's priceless heirloom, "The Thievius Raccoonus," a book that contains all of the special thieving techniques of Sly's ancestors. This game was released on PlayStation 2 in 2003 and a remastered HD version was released on PlayStation 3 in 2011, within the "The Sly Collection." There are hints, cheats, cheat controls and unlockable content for the game on both platforms.
  1. Unlockable Extras

    • When you collect all of the bottles in a level, you unlock new moves and additional game content. You can access a behind-the-scenes movie by finishing all of the "master thief runs." You can reveal the "Thievius Raccoonus Movie" by obtaining all of the pages from the Thievius Raccoonus. This includes the pages that can be unlocked by finding all of the bottles in each level. You can also find a Japanese version of the introductory movie by finishing the game and returning to the hideout. Bentley, the turtle character, will tell Sly that one of his Japanese buddies has sent him a video, which will be the Japanese introduction.

    Stock up on Lives

    • In Sir Rayleigh's "prowling grounds," there is a bug that you can easily exploit to gain an infinite number of lives and lucky charms. A window to the left of the mini-game, "A High Class Heist," contains an extra life. Another window above a bramble bush contains a lucky charm. Take both of these items and then enter the mini-game. Once the game loads up, press "Start" and select the option to exit the mini-game. This makes you return to the "prowling grounds," and the extra life and the lucky charm will have reset themselves. Repeat this process until you have as many lives as you desire.

    Never Lose a Life

    • If you do not wish to lose any lives, when Sly dies, simply press the "Start" button before the dying cut scene begins and exit the level. This will take you outside the level and leave your number of lives intact. This is an effective way of preserving lives if you have a low number of them. However, this cheat will not work in the final level or against the final boss, Clockwerk.

    Action Replay Cheats

    • For the PlayStation 2 version, if you have an "Action Replay" device you can enter cheat controls and access even more cheats. To use this device, put the Action Replay disk and your memory card into your PlayStation 2. After the disk loads up, enter the master code and then enter the cheat contols that you desire. The cheat codes will not work without the master code.

The master code is 0E3C7DF2 1853E59E EE9F582E BCC9E0F2. For the maximum amount of coins, use FE971A86 BCA99BE6. For a lucky charm, enter CE9815C0 BCA9DD10. For unlimited lives, use FE971AFE BCA99BE6. For unlimited time, enter CE9815C0 BCA9DD10. To find all of the clues in a level, enter CE9730DE BCA99BA3.

    Unlockables for "The Sly Collection"

    • The following content is only available on the PlayStation 3 remastered version of the game. You can access the alternate credits after completing the game. When you complete the game, you will be able to view the Sucker Punch credits movie in Bentley's movie selector in the hideout. Hold "L1" when selecting the credits to see the alternate credits. You can also unlock a mini-game called "Interpol Target Practice" by completing the prologue and start of Episode One, titled Tide of Terror.
