Cheats for Sly Cooper

In "Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racconus" for the PlayStation 2, players take on the role of the master thief Sly as he tracks down the pages of the Thievius Racconus, his family's lost tome of thieving techniques. Along the way, Sly must make use of his puzzle-solving skills, stealth movements and cane weapon to dispatch foes and swing between platforms. "Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racconus" features plenty of in-game secrets for players to uncover.

Infinite Lives and Charms
- There is a simple exploitation in Sir Raleigh's "Prowling Grounds" level that allows you to stock up on infinite lives and lucky charms. In the "Prowling Grounds" area, a free life can be found in a window pane to the left of the "High Class Heist" mini-game level. The lucky charm is found inside a window pane above a bramble bush. Grab both of these items then enter the "High Class Heist" mini-game. Exit the mini-game immediately to return to the "Prowling Grounds." The items will have reappeared. Repeat this as many times as you like to build up extra lives.
Save a Life
- Press the Start button at any time to exit a level, other than the final level. If you press the Start button after Sly is killed and time it just right, you can exit the level without losing the life. You must press Start just before the scene changes to the dying cutscene. This is a simple way to prevent a game over when you are low on lives. However the trick will not work on the final level or against the final boss.
Unlockable Content
- Completing different in-game tasks in "Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racconus" unlocks additional game content. Collect each of the multiple bottles hidden in each level to unlock special content like a fighting move, a movie sequence or additional game information. Complete the game to unlock the opening sequence from the Japanese version of the game. Locate all of the pages of the Thievius Racconus to unlock a special ending. Unlock a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the game by completing each Master Thief Run.
Action Replay Codes
- If you own an Action Replay device, you have access to additional cheats for this game. To use the Action Replay, put the disk and memory card inside your PlayStation 2 system, enter the Master Code and then enter whichever cheat codes you like. Without the Master Code, the cheat codes will not work.
