How to Change Names on Monster Hunter 2G

The "Monster Hunter 2G" video game for the PlayStation Portable, or PSP, allows you to hunt and capture various monster creatures in a fantasy environment. With the CWCheat application installed on your PSP, you can change specific features with the "Monster Hunter 2G" game. For example, in order to change the name of a character you've created in the game, you must find the address code used for your character's name within the CWCheat application.

Instructions

      Start the "Monster Hunter 2G" game on your PSP and load the game that you want to change the name for.

      Hold down the "Select" button for at least two seconds, and then select the "Cheat Searcher" option from the CWCheat program.

      Select the "Start a new search for a fixed value" option. Press the "R" button and then move your cursor to the "DEC" field.

      Press the "square" button and then enter "32bit" into the field. Press the "X" button to find the address and then press the "circle" button.

      Select the "Continue a search for a fixed value" option and then press the "triangle" button. Select the "0x010C4BC0" option and then press the "X" button.

      Press the "triangle" button and then press the "up" button on your direction pad to move the address to the top of the screen. Select the name you want to edit and press the "X" button.

      Use your directional pad to change the name and then press the "circle" button three or four times to return to your game. The name will be changed.
