How to Unlock Omega Shenron in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3

"Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3," which was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2004, allows you to fight against your friends or play on your own using characters from the "Dragon Ball" universe. The game features a single-player story mode, in which you can unlock most of the playable characters. You'll have to put in a bit of work to unlock Omega Shenron, one of the legendary shadow dragons, starting with unlocking Broly.

Unlocking Broly

  Beat Goku's Dragon Universe storyline once.

  Launch Goku's Dragon Universe story mode again, and play until you reach Maijin Saga, the segment in which Goku is seeking someone to fuse with using the Potarra earrings.

  Search around the area where Goku starts this segment for the "???" icon and begin a conversation with Hercules.

  Head to the red dot on your map, and look around for another "???" icon. Once your scene with Tien ends, find the location for "Mountains."

  Fight Super Buu after your dialogue with Kabitoshin, who you will see if you found the right location for the mountains. After defeating Buu, head to the new red dot on your map, which is where Broly will be. Defeat him to unlock him.
Unlocking Omega Shenron

  Defeat Broly on your second play-through as Goku, having fulfilled the requirements for unlocking Broly.

  Head to the West City and talk with Bulma about the Dragon Radar.

  Move to the red dot on your map, and best Gotenks while using the Gogeta fusion.
- 9
  Head to the new red dot on your map, where Omega Shenron will be waiting. Defeat Omega Shenron with the help of SSJ4 Gogeta to unlock Omega Shenron.
