Cheats for Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires for the PS2

Koei's "Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires" video game follows the series' blueprint with its feudal hack-and-slash action, coupled with some strategy gameplay. Released in March of 2006 for the PlayStation 2 and rated "Teen" by the ESRB, "Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires" allows the player to gain special items after unlocking them using hints and cheats.

Empire Mode Unlockables
- By playing through and accomplishing objectives during Empire Mode, you can unlock different playable scenarios. Unlock the "Dong Zhou in Luo Yang" scenario by beating the "Yellow Turban Rebellion" scenario. Defeat "Dong Zhou in Luo Yang" to unlock the "A Divided Land" scenario. By finishing "A Divided Land," you will unlock the "Battle of Guan Du" scenario. Complete the "Battle of Guan Du" scenario to unlock the "Flames Over Chi Bi" scenario. A player can obtain the "Executions/Old Age Death," "Unlimited Time" and "Isolate" special settings for the Empire Mode by first defeating the Empire Mode.
Character Unlockables
- Complete the "Yellow Turban" campaign while playing Empire Mode to unlock the customizable options menu, and locked attire choices in the Edit Mode. You also can unlock extra models of unique characters when you reach 60,000 experience points using an unique character.
Special Weapons and Items
- Obtain a 4th level weapon for your character by upgrading your blacksmith skill to level 4, and defeating 500 enemies to unlock the weapon after you complete the level. Play either the Free or Empire Mode on any difficulty and defeat 1,000 enemies to unlock the "1,000 KO Medal" and an extra item slot.
