Expert Mode
Expert mode is an extra difficulty setting, the hardest in the game. To unlock it, earn a grade of "A" on every stage in the game; you are ranked and graded after each stage according to how fast you completed it and how many points you racked up.
Hidden Weapons
Various bonus weapons become available throughout the game. You can unlock the Shadow Rifle by completing the Last Story in story mode, which is a culmination of the Hero, Neutral and Dark story modes. To unlock the Egg Vacuum, which can suck up 20 enemies or objects, complete the Neutral story mode with the Hero ending. To unlock the Healing Cannon, complete the Hero storyline. To unlock the Omochao Gun, complete the Semi-Hero storyline. To unlock the Samurai Blade, complete the Dark storyline. Finally, to unlock the Satellite Laser, complete the Dark storyline.
Infinite Ammo
A specific cheat code will give you unlimited ammunition to use throughout the game. To unlock it, go to the main menu and sequentially press "Down," "Left," "Right," "Up," "R1," "L1," "L2," "R2" on the gamepad. If done correctly, you'll hear a gunshot in the background.
Invincibility
Another cheat code will give you unlimited health throughout the game, making you impervious to attacks, though you can still die if you fall off the stage. To unlock this feature, go to the main menu and sequentially press "Triangle," "Square," "X," "Circle," "R1," "L2," "R2," "L1" on the game pad. If done correctly, you'll hear a gunshot in the background.
