PS2 NBA Live 08 Cheats

NBA Live 08 allows a Play Station 2 user to own and play an NBA basketball team, from controlling the players in-game to managing the team in the off-season. Cheat codes for NBA Live allow a player to unlock hidden items, sign players not available from normal rosters, and purchase items to customize the look of his franchise.

Adidas Sneakers
- Entering cheat codes into the in-game extras menu allows you to unlock a series of NBA star specific sneakers worn by the likes of Time Duncan and Gilbert Arenas. According to IGN Entertainment's website, entering 23DN1PPOG4 will unlock Gil Zero All-Star shoe, ADGILLIT0B8 unlocks the TS Lightswitch sneaker in your team's away colors, ADGILLIT2BA unlocks the TS Lightswitch in your team's home colors, ADGILLIT1B9 unlocks the Gil Wood sneaker, ADGILLIT4BC unlocks the Cuba sneaker, ADGILLIT5BD unlocks a customizable sneaker, ADGILLIT6BE unlocks the Agent Zero, and FE454DFJCC unlocks the Duncan All-Star.
Unlocking NBA Legends
- Unlocking NBA legends as playable teammates in NBA Live 08 is as simple as freeing slots on your active roster. This can only be accomplished during the game's off-season mode. While in your team's roster management screen check out what free agents are available. Press the arrow to the right and a screen will bring up a roster of some of the NBA's most iconic players, except Michael Jordan. Sorry, Jordan is a not a playable character in this version of NBA Live.
Accumulating Points
- Each time you win a game in NBA Live you accumulate points based on your margin of victory. These accumulated points allow you to purchase from the virtual merchandise store, also called "My NBA Live." Items able to be purchased from the store include Michael Jordan's signature sneakers. To accumulate points quickly you may have to play several games against lower tier teams like the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors.
