Quick Player Recovery
After a game, you can select the "Regulate Condition" option to help your players recover. However, this does not bring all of your players back to full capacity. If you select the "Next Match" option and, when the team uniform screen appears, return to the main menu and select the "Regulate Condition" option again, all your players will experience full recovery.
Akka
The Akka is a special soccer move in which a player uses the outside of the foot to kick a ball toward the goal. To perform an Akka, press the "L1" or "R2" buttons when shooting a goal. Only a certain number of players can perform an Akka: Ronaldinho, Ronaldo, C. Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Easy PES Points
If you start an international league and place only two teams in the league, you can choose one of the teams and defeat the other team twice. You will earn 1,500 PES points every time you play an international league this way.
Bergkamp Turn
You can perform a Bergkamp Turn by pressing the "R1" button while running away from the goal to stop the ball. Then, press the "R2" button to perform a drag back. Once you see the ball at the player's heel, press "Up" and "Right" to perform the turn.
Fake Shoot
To perform a fake shoot, press the "Circle" button to and quickly press the "X" button before you shoot the ball. This is a useful move for faking out your opponent's goalie.
Easier Negotiation
Negotiating periods happen at the end of a season. During a negotiation period, go to the general settings menu and set the difficulty to 1 or 2 stars. This will make negotiation much easier, because at the 1 or 2 star difficulty level players become much cheaper and more willing to join your team.
Creating Boots
Several different types of boot parts are available in PES 5, all with different numbers. If you combine different boot parts with the same number, you can create exact replicas of the popular soccer boots used during the game's release.
