Onimusha 4 Cheats

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, also known as Shin Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, is the fourth entry in the Onimusha series and it largely sticks to what its predecessors tested and proved. When the familiarity begins to wear on you, there are cheats you can use to make things more interesting. Unless otherwise stated, you can activate cheats by navigating to the “Special” menu, highlighting the option labeled “Exit” and entering the appropriate cheat code.
  1. Two Player Mode Cheat Codes

    • For whatever reason, Capcom decided to force players to unlock the two multiplayer modes for Dawn of Dreams if they want to play them. Fortunately, you can use cheat codes to quickly gain access to both modes.

To unlock arena mode, enter “L1,” “R2,” “Square,” “Left,” “L1,” “L2,” “L3,” “Right,” “Triangle.”

Unlike all other cheat codes for Dawn of Dreams, the cheat code necessary for unlocking the two-player cooperative mode is activated from the main menu, rather than from the special menu. You will need two controllers plugged in for this cheat to work. Once you do, press and hold the “L1” and “R2” buttons on both controllers then press the “Start” button on your second controller. You will hear a noise if you entered the code correctly.

    Costume Cheat Codes

    • Dawn of Dreams was produced by Capcom, the same company that produced Street Fighter. So it's no coincidence that several of Dawn of Dreams' cheats give your characters costumes from Street Fighter.

For Jubei Cammy's Street Fighter costume, enter “L2,” “L2,” “Right,” “Right,” “L3,” “Triangle,” “Left,” “L1,” “L2,” “Square.”

The code to give Chun-Li's costume to Ohatsu is “R3,” “Right,” “L2,” “Left,” “Left,” “R3,” “L1,” “R1,” “Right,” “R3.”

To give Guile's costume to Roberto, enter “R2,” “L2,” “Left,” “L1,” “Left,” “Right,” “R3,” “Square,” “Square,” “Triangle.”

The code to give Ryu's costume to Soki is “Left,” “Triangle,” “R2,” “R3,” “Square,” “R1,” “R1,” “Right,” “Left,” “L2.”

      This code gives Ken's costume to Tenkai: “L3,” “L3,” “R3,” “R3,” “R3,” “Left,” “R2,” “L1,” “Square,” “Right.”

    Weapon Cheat Codes

    • If you're getting tired of looking at your character's regular weapons, you can use these cheats to give each character replacement weapons which are completely out of place in 16th century Japan.

      This code gives Jubei a tennis racket: “L1,” “R1,” “Right,” “L2,” “Triangle,” “Right,” “L1,” “Right,” “L3,” “R1.”

Use this code to give Ohatsu a piggy bank: “Right,” “Triangle,” “Left,” “L3,” “L1,” “Triangle,” “Square,” “R2,” “Square,” “R2.”

To give Roberto boxing gloves, enter “Triangle,” “R3,” “Triangle,” “Right,” “R1,” “L3,” “Triangle,” “L1,” “Right,” “L3.”

The code to give Soki a steel pipe is “L2,” “Square,” “Triangle,” “R1,” “R1,” “R3,” “Left,” “Square,” “L1,” “Triangle.”

This code gives Tenkai a microphone stand: “R2,” “R3,” “Square,” “Left,” “Left,” “Right,” “L2,” “Left,” “R2,” “Left.”
