The Secret Techniques of Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3

Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 is an action fighting game designed specifically for PlayStation 2. In it, you control an assortment of ninjas, and battle in a two dimensional plane. Based off of the popular Naruto cartoon, there are a couple of secrets within the game that will allow you to conquer and master the game.
  1. Unlock All Characters

    • There is a hidden code that allows anyone to unlock every character in the game by using a sequence of buttons. In order to do so, first go to the game's main menu. From there, simultaneously hold R1 and R2 together, and then in sequence press Square, Triangle, Square, Triangle. Release the buttons, and then hold down L1 and L2 at the same time. While holding down the two buttons press Right, Up, Right, Up. Release those buttons as well. To finish the code, press down on both analog sticks at the same time. A chime will sound, allowing all characters to be used in the game.

    Unlimited Scrolls

    • Scrolls in the game are used to unlock new fighting techniques for the player to use with their characters. There is a way to collect an unlimited amount of scrolls to use. Using your character in a game mode called "Heroes Mode," go to Iruka-Sensei's house. His house is located in front of a building named "Ichiraku Ramen." Once inside, talk to him. Once prompted, select the second of two options available, and then select the second option again. Leave the house, and you will find the scrolls on top of the house. Collect the scrolls, and re-enter the house to repeat the activity as much as desired.

    Unlock Ninja Info Cards

    • There is a way to obtain Ninja Info cards, and Ryo (the game's currency) without playing a single stage. It does require, however, owning the previous game in the Naruto series. In your PS2 memory card, have a saved game from Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 on your memory card. Start the regular Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 game. You will see a message saying you received 607 Ninja Info Cards and 50,000 Ryo before the game begins.
