Cheats for Cabelas Big Game Hunter for PS2

Activision released "Cabela's Big Game Hunter" for the Playstation 2 in November of 2002. It's a hunting simulator where players stalk the mountainous, forested environments for prey including bears, white-tailed deer, and moose. "Big Game Hunter" had action that was more intense and immediate than the rival "Deer Hunter" series. Like most video games, the input of various button-presses will alter the game play of "Big Game Hunter."

Instructions

X-Ray Vision

  Bag all tags on any given level during "Career Mode."

  Return to the same level during a "Quick Hunt."
- 3
  Activate your rifle scope and line up an animal in your sights. Hold the "X" button and you will be able to see through the animal.
Bonus Hunters
- 4
  Complete a hunting region in "Career Mode" by bagging all tags in the area. Save the game and exit to the main menu.

  Load your game and start a new career.

  Press "Left" on the directional pad at the hunter select screen to access your new hunter. A new hunter is unlocked after completing each hunting region.
Avoid Charging Animals

  Run back to your vehicle when pursued by charging game.

  Stand next to your vehicle and press the "X" button to board it.
- 9
  Press "X" again to leave the vehicle. The animal will be standing nearby in a non-aggressive posture. Repeat this procedure as often as needed.
