Megaman X Collection Cheats

The "Mega Man X" series follows the adventures of X and Zero as they fight against the forces of Sigma and his Mavericks, who have all succumbed to a terrible computer virus. Throughout your journey, you acquire various power-ups for X or saber moves for Zero. In the case of "Mega Man X" versions 4 through 6, from the "Mega Man X Collection" game, X's "Ultimate Armor" and Zero's "Black Zero" form are the most powerful boosts in the game and can be accessed immediately from the start. Additionally, if you're playing "Mega Man X 3," you can skip through all of the initial bosses and head straight for the "Doppler Stage."

'Mega Man X 4' Ultimate Armor and Black Zero
- To instantly acquire X's "Ultimate Armor" and Zero's "Black Zero" form, press the following button sequences at the character select screen. Hold "R1" and press right six times, then release "R1" to hold the circle button then press start to play as "Black Zero." For X's "Ultimate Armor," press circle twice, left six times, then hold "L1" and "R2" and press "Start." Hold "L1" and "R2" until the start of the first level, then release. Beat the stage, then enter the "Jungle" level to find the "Leg PowerUp Capsule" behind the waterfall at the section where you descend on platforms. When you get your "Leg PowerUp," you will actually receive your entire "Ultimate Armor."
'Mega Man X 3' Early Doppler Stage
- At the Stage Select screen, highlight the "X" at the top. Then enter the following buttons at the same time: Square + X + Down. This will instantly transport you to "Doppler Stage 1." The code will not work if you have defeated four or more Maverick bosses, or if either Vile, Bit or Byte have been defeated.
'Mega Man X 5' Ultimate Armor and Black Armor
- These codes must be pressed during the Character Select screen, highlighting the appropriate character before you start. If you have Zero highlighted, press down twice, then up nine times to play with "Black Zero." Then for X's "Ultimate Armor," highlight him, then press up twice, then down eight times. For both instances, you will hear a confirmation tone that the codes have worked.
'Mega Man X 6' Black Zero and Ultimate Armor
- Highlight "Game Start" at the main menu. Then input the following code sequence: "L1," "L1," "L1" and "R2" for "Black Zero." Afterward, punch in the code "Left," "Left," "Left," then "Right" to play as X with his "Ultimate Armor."
