Sims 2 & Sims 2 Pets PS2 Cheats

̶0;The Sims 2̶1; is a life simulation game that allows players to create characters called Sims to inhabit a virtual neighborhood. Sims have to eat, rest and relax while still earning enough money to buy new items for their homes. An expansion called ̶0;The Sims 2: Pets̶1; was released that also allows players to buy and train a pet. The PlayStation 2 (PS2) version of the game has slightly different method of entering cheats than the original computer version. The player must enter codes to receive the effect of the cheat.

Cheat Gnome
- You must activate the cheat gnome before you use cheats. Entering the cheat gnome code will cause the cheat gnome to appear on your yard. You can click on it to activate and deactivate other cheat codes you enter. The code to spawn the cheat gnome in ̶0;The Sims 2̶1; is "L1," "R1," "Up," "X," "R2." The code to spawn the cheat gnome in ̶0;The Sims 2: Pets̶1; is "L1," "L1," "R1," "X," "X," "Up."
Money
- Use money to buy new furniture, expand your house, pay bills and buy food for the Sim. Earning money can be a time consuming process depending on the Sim̵7;s current salary. You can use codes to give your Sim an extra $9,999. The money code in ̶0;The Sims 2̶1; is "R1," "L1," "R2," "Right," "Left." The money code for ̶0;The Sims 2: Pets̶1; is "Triangle," "Up," "Left," "Down," "Right."
Time Advance Code
- The time advance code will cause the game clock to move six hours into the future immediately. This is useful to use if you are waiting for a timed event to occur, such as waiting for your Sim to return from work. The code to advance time forward six hours is "Circle," "Square," "L1," "Up," "Down" in ̶0;The Sims 2.̶1; The code to advance time is "Up," "Left," "Down," "Right," "R1" in ̶0;The Sims 2: Pets.̶1;
Unlock All Breeds
- ̶0;The Sims 2: Pets̶1; contains a number of breeds of cats and dogs that are not purchasable without fulfilling certain requirements in the game. There is a code to unlock all the pet breeds in the game so that all of them are immediately available for purchase. The code to unlock all the breeds is "Up," "Up," "Down," "Left," "Left," "Right," "Circle," "X," "X," "Triangle."
New Items in Pet Emporium
- The Pet Emporium in ̶0;The Sims 2: Pets̶1; sells all the pet related items and furniture in the game. Initially, much of the inventory will not be accessible to the player. You can use a cheat code to make all of the items in the Pet Emporium available for purchase without fulfilling the normal requirements. The code is "Right," "Down," "Right," "Up," "Right," "Down," "Right," "Up."
