Unlockable Suits
During game play, you can wear other costumes beyond Spider-man's famed red-and-blue suit. For fans of Venom, Spider-man's muscular and terrifying nemesis, you can unlock his costume by collecting 100 meterorite pieces. If you like Spider-man's black suit, which is the symbiote that eventually became Venom, you can unlocked it collecting 50 spider emblems. You can find these scattered throughout the levels.
1,000 Hero Points
Hero points are gained by performing heroic acts in the game. Getting enough of them can help you buy different items in the game, opening up new levels and upgrades. These points can be hard to come by, but there is a code you can enter to gain 1,000 hero points. Pause the game and go to the Hero Upgrade menu. Once there, press "L1, X, X, L2, R1, X, X, R2." This cheat can be used as often as you like.
Beat Venom
Venom will plague you throughout the game. In the final level, he and Sandman will fight against you. It can be difficult to defeat this level because Venom is so powerful and strong for this final battle. Focus on Sandman first. Once you beat him, wait for Venom to unleash a series of punches and kicks, which can be devastating if they land. Once you avoid his combo, use a small combo on him, such as "Square, Square, Square, Triangle." Any combo that is any bigger will give him time to avoid your attack and leave you open for damage.
After you've attacked him twice with this pattern, he'll throw black goo at you. Now jump over his head and punch him. When you land, pull a small combo off. Eventually, a purple circle will appear around him. This means he's close to dying. Get near him and press "Triangle." Your friend Harry will do the rest.
