Gameplay Cheats

Enter "Up," "Down," "Left," "Right," "X," "X," "L1" and "R1" to give yourself an extra $250,000. "Up," "Right," "Square," "Square," "Down," "Left," "Circle" and "Circle" raises your Wanted level while "Up," "Right," "Triangle," "Triangle," "Down," "Left," "X" and "X" gets rid of your Wanted level entirely. To make your character commit suicide, enter the code "Right," "Right," "Circle," "Circle," "L1," "R1," "Down" and "X."

Vehicle Cheats

• To change the colors of all cars (except police cars), enter "L1," "R1," "L1," "R1," "Left," "Circle," "Up" and "X" to make every car black. To give every car a chrome appearance, enter "Right," "Up," "Left," "Down," "Triangle," "Triangle," "L1" and "R1." The chrome code also affects police cars. The code "Up," "Up," "Right," "Left," "Triangle," "Circle," "Circle" and "Square" will make all other cars in the game move out of your way. To destroy all nearby cars, enter "L1," "R1," "R1," "Left," "Right," "Square," "Down" and "R1." To spawn cars, enter "Up," "L1," "Down," "R1," "Left," "L1," "Right" and "R1" for the Rhino Tank or "Down," "Up," "Right," "Triangle," "L1," "Triangle," "L1" and "Triangle" for the Trashmaster Truck.

Weapons Cheats

• To gain a different set of weapons, enter "Left," "Right," "X," "Up," "Down," "Square," "Left" and "Right" for Weapon Set 1. Enter "Left," "Right," "Square," "Up," "Down," "Triangle," "Left" and "Right" for Weapon Set 2. Finally, "Left," "Right," "Triangle," "Up," "Down," "Circle," "Left" and "Right" gives you Weapon Set 3.

City Cheats

• Some codes affect the entire city. To make time move faster, enter "R1," "L1," "L1," "Down," "Up," "X," "Down" and "L1." The code "Left," "Left," "R1," "R1," "Up," "Triangle," "Down" and "X" makes the entire game (not just the clock) speed up while "Left," "Left," "Circle," "Circle," "Down," "Up," "Triangle" and "X" slows everything down. Enter "Down," "Left," "Up," "L1," "R1," "Triangle," "Circle" and "X" to remove all traction on the streets. The code "Up," "Down," "Triangle," "X," "L1," "R1," "Left" and "Circle" turns every traffic light in the city to green.

  Other codes change the weather in the game. For clear weather, enter "Left," "Down," "R1," "L1," "Right," "Up," "Left" and "X." Enter "Left," "Down," "Triangle," "X," "Right," "Up," "Left" and "L1" to make the weather foggy. "Left," "Down," "L1," "R1," "Right," "Up," "Left" and "Square" makes the weather overcast. To make rain, enter the code "Left," "Down," "L1," "R1," "Right," "Up," "Left" and "Triangle." For sunny weather, enter "Left," "Down," "R1," "L1," "Right," "Up," "Left" and "Circle."

Pedestrian Codes

• A few codes affect the pedestrians walking around the city. "Up," "L1," "Down," "R1," "Left," "Circle," "Right" and "Triangle" gives all the pedestrians weapons, while "Down," "Triangle," "Up," "X," "L1," "R1," "L1" and "R1" makes them attack you. To make them riot indiscriminately, enter the code "R1," "L1," "L1," "Down," "Left," "Circle," "Down" and "L1."
