Sonic Mega Collection PS2 Cheats

̶0;Sonic Mega Collection,̶1; also known as ̶0;Sonic Mega Collection Plus̶1; was released November 2, 2004, for North American PlayStation 2 consoles. Published by Sega, ̶0;Sonic Mega Collection Plus̶1; features many classic titles, including ̶0;Sonic the Hedgehog,̶1; ̶0;Sonic & Knuckles̶1; and ̶0;Sonic Spinball.̶1; Some of these games have tough challenges, but a few hints and cheats can help you make it through. To unlock more hints for any game, play it for three hours, either at once or in bursts. If you quit before three hours, press "R1" and "Exit" to save your game time.

Hidden Games
- Apart from the original titles that are initially available in ̶0;Sonic Mega Collection Plus,̶1; a number of hidden games can be unlocked. For example, starting ̶0;Sonic the Hedgehog̶1; and ̶0;Sonic 3D Blast̶1; each 20 times will unlock the game ̶0;Blue Spheres.̶1; Save a game file from ̶0;Sonic Heroes̶1; or accumulate 30 hours of game play in ̶0;Sonic Mega Collection Plus̶1; to unlock the game ̶0;Comix Zone.̶1; If you save a game file from ̶0;Sonic Heroes̶1; or start ̶0;Sonic Spinball̶1; and ̶0;Sonic 2̶1; each 50 times, you will unlock the game ̶0;The Ooze.̶1; Play ̶0;Dr. Robotnik̵7;s Mean Bean Machine̶1; 30 times to unlock the game ̶0;Flicky."
Sonic the Hedgehog Cheats
- Several versions of ̶0;Sonic the Hedgehog̶1; are available in ̶0;Sonic Mega Collection Plus,̶1; though these regional versions are hidden. To play the EU version of ̶0;Sonic the Hedgehog,̶1; press ̶0;Up,̶1; ̶0;R2,̶1; ̶0;Down,̶1; ̶0;R2,̶1; ̶0;Left,̶1; ̶0;R2,̶1; ̶0;Right̶1; and ̶0;R2̶1; at the information screen before beginning the game. To play the Japanese version of ̶0;Sonic the Hedgehog,̶1; press ̶0;R2̶1; six times, then ̶0;Up,̶1; ̶0;Down,̶1; ̶0;Left̶1; and ̶0;Right̶1; at the information screen.
Sonic 3D Blast
- There is an easy way to accumulate extra lives in ̶0;Sonic 3D Blast̶1; when playing in the special stage. First, collect 50 rings, find the emerald and then lose your current life. Collect another 50 rings and reload the special stage. Give these rings to the original character who was used to collect the first 50 rings and the stage with the emerald will reappear. Complete this stage for an instant extra life, and you̵7;ll gain extra lives for every 100 rings collected. Repeat this process as many times as necessary.
Sonic Spinball Cheats
- Take advantage of several cheats in ̶0;Sonic Spinball̶1; to warp to various levels. At the Options menu, press ̶0;Square,̶1; ̶0;Down,̶1; ̶0;X,̶1; ̶0;Down,̶1; ̶0;Circle,̶1; ̶0;Down,̶1; ̶0;Square,̶1; ̶0;X,̶1; ̶0;Up,̶1; ̶0;Square,̶1; ̶0;Circle,̶1; ̶0;Up,̶1; ̶0;X,̶1; ̶0;Circle̶1; and ̶0;Up̶1; to unlock the level warp-cheat feature. Press ̶0;Square̶1; and ̶0;Start̶1; to warp to Level 2; ̶0;X̶1; and ̶0;Start̶1; to warp to Level 3; or ̶0;Circle̶1; and ̶0;Start̶1; to warp to Level 4.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles
- Find the first siren in the level ̶0;Launch Base.̶1; Charge your Spin Dash while holding ̶0;Down̶1; and wait for a bird to appear. Once you see the bird, hold ̶0;Down̶1; for the remainder of the level̵7;s time limit and you will be rewarded with 50 extra lives. If you don̵7;t see the bird, you̵7;ll have to start over.
