Hidden Characters
"Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance" offers you a chance to use any one of the 15 characters that are initially available; however, an additional 11 characters are hidden within the game and can only become available if found by the player. To locate these characters, you must access the Krypt from the main menu. You will then see numerous rows of coffins. These coffins are accessible only by using the Koins that are collected during gameplay. Each coffin contains a secret item. The 11 hidden fighters are hidden within secret coffins. To unlock Cyrax, you must use 3,003 platinum koins to open coffin CN. To gain access to Drahmin, you must open coffin UR with 6,500 sapphire koins. Frost is in coffin IV, which you can open with 208 ruby koins. Opening coffin MW with 3,317 jade koins will reveal Hsu Hao. Kitana can be found in coffin KI, which is opened with 2,931 sapphire koins. Nitara is hidden in coffin TI and must be opened with 4,022 gold koins. Raiden is hidden in coffin XG and must be opened with 3,116 jade koins. Opening coffin LL with 3,822 gold koins will reveal Reptile. Blaze and Mokap are two additional hidden characters that become available once you complete all 218 missions in Konquest mode.
Hidden Levels
The "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance" Krypt also hides additional levels that can be used within gameplay. Each of these stages offer secret fatalities and special ways to damage your opponent .These stages are not accessible through any other means unless they are unlocked from their corresponding coffins. To obtain the Nethership stage, open coffin DS with 1,472 ruby koins. Opening coffin EA with 258 sapphire koins will reveal the Lost Tomb stage. Coffin HP hides the House of Pekara stage and is opened with 2,093 onyx koins. Open coffin II with 1,843 gold koins for the Lava Shrine. Coffin KR holds the Palace Grounds and must be opened with 4222 koins. Sarana Ruins is in coffin PW, which is opened with 2,006 sapphire koins. The Dragonfly level is hidden in coffin WT and is opened with 1,400 jade koins. Open coffin ZD with 98 ruby koins for Molach̵7;s lair.
Additional Secrets and Cheats
"Mortal Kombat" has numerous characters that are challenging to defeat. Use this glitch to get the upper hand on any enemy. As the fight screen loads, unplug your controller from the console, then plug it back in. You will now be able to move around and attack your enemy before the round actually begins. Use this to your advantage to jump your opponent before he or she can fight back.
