Cheat Codes
As you play through "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3," you will be able to use variety of cheat codes that will affect gameplay or the presentation style. For these codes to take effect, you must first pause the action and press the "L1" button. While holding the button, enter the button sequences to receive its corresponding effect.
To cause the skaters in this game to have large, cartoonish heads, enter "Up," "Circle" and "Down." One aspect of "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3" is that you will have to win various contests against computer-controlled skaters. To get an easy victory in each contest. enter "Square," "Circle," "Right," "Square," "Circle," "Right," "Square," "Circle," "Right," "Square," "Circle" and "Right."
You can slow down the speed of the game, giving every moment a slow motion appearance, by entering "Left," "Left," "Up," "Left," "Left," "Up" and "X." The perfect balance cheat will cause your skater to stay on his board at all times. Enter "Up," "Down," "Up," "Up," "Triangle," "X," "Triangle" and "Triangle" to get this effect.
As you complete skateboard tricks, your character's special meter will fill up. Once at maximum, you will be able to complete chains of tricks that are normally impossible. To keep your meter full at all times, enter "Triangle," "Right," "Up," "Square," "Triangle," "Right," "Up," "Square" and "Triangle." Each successful trick will give your skater a number of points that can help you win contests.
Turbo mode causes all of the game action to pass at a sped up pace. For this game play effect, enter "Left," "Up," "Square" and "Triangle." To give your skater a complete set of skills, enter "Square," "Triangle," "Up," Down," "Right," "Up," "Square" and "Triangle."
The moon physics passcode will cause the gravity to vanish from the game. Your skater will now fly through the air as if he were on the moon. For this cheat, enter "Right," "Up," "Down," "X," "Down," "Up," "Down," "X" and "Square."
