How to Do Fatalities in Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance

"Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance" is the fifth game in the Mortal Kombat franchise. Midway released it in 2002 for the Playstation 2, Xbox, Gamecube and Gameboy Advance videogame systems. Like other Mortal Kombat games, Deadly Alliance is a two-player, versus-style fighting game. Also like the other games, each round's winner has a chance to perform an ultra-violent "Fatality" finishing move to humiliate the opponent.

Instructions

    • 1

Select any character from the character select screen. Each character has a unique fatality.

    • 2

Defeat the opponent in a majority of matches. The standard setting is a best-of-three scenario, so you'll have to win twice. Immediately upon winning the second match, the words "Finish Him" or "Finish Her" will appear on the screen and the opponent will stand up and sway about, dazed.

    • 3

Pull the left trigger button to switch to your "Fatality" stance ("L1" for the Playstation 2 version). Perform the button combination required to do your player's Fatality. If you are playing as Shang Tsung on the Playstation 2, for example, hit "Up," "Down," "Up," "Down" then "Triangle." The background should darken and your player will perform the move on the opponent. For Shang Tsung this will involve telekinetically raising and bashing the opponent into the ground repeatedly, then jumping on the motionless opponent's torso. You should see "Fatality" written in red on the screen at the completion of the move.
