Cheats for Mortal Kombat Deception on PS2

Mortal Kombat: Deception is a video game made by Midway for the PlayStation 2 game system. It is a 3D fighting game. Mortal Kombat: Deception is the sequel to Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance and is the sixth game in the Mortal Kombat series. 26 characters in total appear in the game as playable characters. Also, the game contains varying game modes on top of the traditional fighting game. As with previous Mortal Kombat games, MK: Deception has cheats and tricks to enhance the gameplay experience.

Alternate Costumes
- To randomly select your game characters, hold \"Up\" on the directional pad and press the start button on the first controller. To select a stage, press the R1 button on your controller before selecting a game character (not applicable in Arcade mode).
  
  Also, certain actions unlock alternate costumes for characters. For Baraka, open Koffin SR with 2252 gold coins. For Bo Rai Cho, do the same but use 2086 onyx coins. Opne the Koffin CN by using 1114 Jade coins to unlock Havik̵7;s other costumes. Jade̵7;s other costumes are found in chest G-4 in the Outworld level. Find Ermac̵7;s alternate costumes in chest A-8 in the Netherrealm. Alternate costumes for Liu Kang are found in a chest located at point H-5 in Edenia, on the first of the month around 12-1 pm in the afternoon.
Unlockable Stages
- MK: Deception has stages that are hidden but can be unlocked. To unlock the Beetle Lair stage, find the treasure chest located at A-6 in the Earthrealm. This is after you have completed Konquest. Finding the chest located in area A-1 of the Netherrealm will unlock the Courtyard stage. The Dead Pool open up by using 2191 ruby coins to unlock Koffin JI. The Dragon King̵7;s Temple stage is in a house in the Chaosrealm in are D-7. The Dragon Mountain is located in a chest in area H-8 in the Outworld. The classic stage, the Living Forest, is unlocked when the Koffin DS is opened up with 1694 sapphire coins. And the Portal stage is unlocked by locating a treasure chest in area E-5 of the Earthrealm.
Unlockable Characters
- The game also contains unlockable characters. Opening the Koffin OI with 2,417 coins will unlock Jade. Liu Kang can be unlocked by finding a treasure chest in the Earthrealm in area E-4. Noob-Smoke is unlocked by opening up the Koffin DM by utilizing 3,642 onyx coins in the Krypt. Raiden is unlocked by beating him in area E-3 in the Orderrealm after completing the Konquest mode of play. Finding a chest in area D-1 in the Netherrealm at 1-4 am will unlock the character Sindel.
