Using Iron Man, Gambit and War Machine, players can execute a 114-hit combo provided their abilities are set to "Projectile" and with the Hyper Combo meter all the way up to "3." Pressing "L" and "R" simultaneously will start the Hyper Combo.
90 Percent Damage
A similar move can be done using Cable, Iron Man and War Machine under the same circumstances with the "Projectile" ability and a full Hyper Combo meter, which will inflict 90 percent damage on the opponent. For extra effect, it may be advisable to wait until more than one of the opponent's characters are on the screen for maximum effect.
One-Hit Defeat
Choosing Juggernaut, Iron Man and BB Hood or Juggernaut, Hulk and Zangief and doing their Hyper Combo can inflict a maneuver that can defeat the opponent in one move. This requires using each character's recommended ability, having Juggernaut, as the main character, being in proximity to the opponent and having a fully charged Hyper Combo meter.
Change Character Order
After selecting characters, it is possible to change the order which they come into play. Press the first "Assist" button to makes the first and third characters switch. Press the second "Assist" button to make the first and second switch. Press both to switch the second and third characters.
Point Tricks
On the Shop menu, repeatedly exiting and re-entering the screen will reduce the price of unlockable content like hidden costumes and characters. Additionally, leaving the game on while in training mode will cause points to accumulate to spend in the Shop.
