Unlock Costumes

• To change the armor, costumes or general look of the main character, Kratos, you will need to complete the game. After the initial completion, you will have access to costumes such as the Hydra Armor and the Cod of War. In the Hyrda armor, any orb that is collected will be doubled, but your strength will be halved. While wearing the Cod of War armor, all orbs will be doubled without a decrease in strength, but you cannot move as easily.
  To access the Dark Odyssey costume, you will need to complete the game on the "God" difficulty setting. This costume will decrease the amount of defense available, but your strength will be doubled.
  To access the costumes of Athena and Hercules, you will need to win the game while in "Titan" difficulty mode. The Athena costume will double the value of red orbs and increase the value of the others, but in return, your defense will drop slightly. In the Hercules costume, the armor will decrease in efficiency by 50 percent, but the strength will be doubled.
  If you can attain a "God" rank in the Challenge of the Titans, you will be able to obtain the "God Armor." Obtaining this armor is desirable because all orbs, defenses and strength are doubled.
  If you can collect 20 Cyclops eyes, you will be able to unlock an enhanced version of the General Kratos armor. Strength will be decreased significantly and the value of any orb collected will decrease. However, there is a significant increase in the value of the red orb.

The Gift of Health

• Throughout the game, you will notice that Kratos' health will vary depending on how well he fought in previous battles. You can obtain a gift of health, which will restore any missing health. When you see the second translator in the game jump off the cliff to avoid reading the book, you will need to move the fate statue that is located by the gate to the end of the hallway. Walk through the mirror to rewind time and go back to where the statue was originally located. You will find a chest in place of the statue. Inside the chest is the gift of health.

Defeating Theasus

• One of the toughest battles in the game is the fight with Theasus. To defeat him more easily during the second half of the battle, lead the creatures he summons to attack you around until he creates pillars of ice. Roll to avoid the pillars, but be sure the creatures are caught under the pillars. This will hurt the creatures, giving you an advantage in your battle against Theasus.
