Cheats for Mortal Kombat: Armageddon on PS2

Cheat Mode

• To enter cheat codes, select the "Krypt" from the main menu of the game. This is where all unlockables are stored. When inside the Krypt, a large "?" box will appear. Stand in front of the box and enter the corresponding cheat code on your game controller. Press the "Enter" button to accept and activate the cheat, and this will return you to normal game play with the cheat active and available for use. The cheat code will remain active for the remainder of game play.

Unlock Characters

• To unlock Blaze normally, you must collect 50 relics in normal game mode. Unlock him immediately with cheat code "Triangle," "Square," "Left," "L1," "Left," "Circle." Blaze has a high-powered kick against which many opponents cannot compete.

  Daegon has a powerful punch and a strong spin-move that can be used to attack opponents with ease. To obtain him, collect 30 relics during game play, or enter cheat code "R1," "L1," "Triangle," "Down," "Down," "Square."

  Meat has a speed burst attack that can help you both attack quickly and dodge enemy kicks and punches before they make contact. Collect 10 relics, or enter cheat code "Up," "Square," "Square," "Circle," "Circle," "Up."

Unlock Arenas

• Arenas typically must be unlocked by completing levels of play. As one arena is completed successfully, the next is unlocked, forcing you to complete every level in the order given. Using cheats to unlock arenas will allow you to play in the order you so choose and skip levels you have trouble completing.

  The Falling Cliffs arena has a boulder and mountain backsplash, creating the appearance of a rock avalanche as you combat. To unlock this arena, enter cheat "R2," "Circle," "Square," "X," "Circle," "Triangle."

  The Red Dawn arena allows you to play as the sun rises, beaming a deep red and orange sunrise on the backsplash as you compete in battle. To unlock this arena, enter cheat "Circle," "L1," "Up," "Square," "Circle," "Down."

Unlock Artwork

• Concept art can typically be purchased with points gained during game play. This artwork is displayed on the backspash of levels during game play and adds an extra eye appeal to the game.

  To unlock the Early Tavern concept art, enter cheat code "Up," "X," "R2," "Down," "L2," "X."

  Pyramid concept art creates an ancient Egyptian feel and can be unlocked with cheat "Triangle," "Left," "Left," "X," "Down," "Circle."
