GTA Vice City Cheat Codes & Hints

GTA Vice City is part of the Grand Theft Auto series of video games. The game allows you to travel through the Miami-themed "Vice City" completing missions, fighting enemies and gaining ranks. Cheat codes can give you easy access to weapons and other elements needed to progress.

Cheat Mode
- To enter cheat codes, you must first be in cheat mode. Simply pause game play, and at the options screen press the corresponding buttons for the cheat. The cheat will last until you either lose a life, complete a mission or fail it, at which time you need to re-enter the cheat code.
Health Cheat
- A health cheat will allow you to pump up your health score any time throughout the game. Enter this cheat code by pressing R1, R2, L1, Circle, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up and you can instantly max out your health score.
Armor Cheat
- Bulletproof vests must typically be collected throughout game play to increase armor levels, but using cheat code R1, R2, L1, X, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up will instantly give you full armor, allowing you to combat enemies with ease.
Wanted Levels
- Police chase your character depending on your wanted level. As you commit crimes, your wanted levels rise, and the police chase you with more vigor and weaponry. To raise your wanted levels, enter cheat code R1, R1, Circle, R2, Left, Right, Left, Right, Left, Right. To lower wanted levels and keep you off the police radar, enter cheat code R1, R1, Circle, R2, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down.
