Basic Cheat Codes
\"Conflict: Desert Storm\" has two categories of cheat codes. Basic cheat codes can be entered with a regular game controller. Others, however, require the use of the PlayStation USB Keyboard. Unfortunately, this second category of cheats cannot be accessed without the keyboard peripheral.
One basic code allows the player to unlock a special cheat menu. To do so, go to the main menu and enter square, square, circle, circle, L1, L1, R1, R1, L2, L2, R2, R2. Once the code has been entered, you will find new options in difficulty settings and in the in-game options.
The second basic cheat code allows players to return an injured soldier to full health. This is especially important when dealing with enemy ambushes, when pinned down under enemy fire, or in missions that require all squad members to return alive. Without pausing the game enter square, triangle, square, square, R1, L1, R1, R1 and then enter L2, circle, X, R1, R1. If entered correctly your health meter should now be back up to full.
Keyboard Shortcuts
The PlayStation USB keyboard allows you to use several new cheats, each with a single keystroke. To enter any of the following codes, simply press the key to toggle the cheat option on or off.
To reverse the aiming controls (making up down and left right) press Y. This alternate control scheme can prove especially helpful when using a sniper rifle for long distance shots.
To freeze time within the game from the keyboard, press X. To un-freeze and resume standard play, press X again.
To activate invincibility mode, press K. This option will keep enemy rounds from hurting you, and your health remains unchanged. To complete a level with full energy, activate this option immediately upon starting a level. Press K again to deactivate it.
Entering the debug menu will allow you to access game developer menus that are normally invisible to players. From this menu, players can alter display options, game statistics, and tweak enemy abilities. To access this menu, press L. To activate menu items, press the back slash ( \\) key.
