How to Cure a Stop in Final Fantasy XII

"Final Fantasy XII" features some new battle functions and strategies for the best-selling role-playing game series. This 2006 Sony PlayStation 2 title tasks you with repelling the invasion of the Archadian Empire. You will face a variety of creatures, some capable of casting devastating spells on your party. Stop makes your characters cease all actions and freezes them in place. This one of the most difficult spells in the game to deal with, but there are a handful of ways you can cure it.

  Use a Chronos Tear. This is a healing item you can buy at shops, and many enemies drop it on the ground after you defeat them in the field.

  Develop your characters' Remedy ability to the third level by purchasing upgrades on the license grid's augment section. Increasing levels of magical powers adds more curing effects to spells. You will need Remedy of at least Level 3 to cure a stop in this manner.
- 3
  Cast Dispel on the party member affected by the stop. This spell has the negative side effect of removing any status enhancements previously cast on this character during the battle.
