How to Get the Kaiser Shield on FF XII

"Final Fantasy XII" continues the long-running fantasy series, and in this installment you're trying to prevent your town from being taken over by an evil empire. Different criteria must be met to gain the various types of armor, weapons and shields in the game. With regards to the Kaiser Shield, you either have a small chance of stealing it from a certain type of monster, or you can purchase it once you've earned the Treaty-Blade.

Instructions

- 1
  Go to the Ancient City of Giruvegan. It is in the far southern area of Ivalice. Fight against the creatures known as "Forbidden" inside the city. Select "Steal" while you're fighting them for a chance to steal the Kaiser Shield.

  Go to the Gate of Wind. Defeat Shemhazai, who is the boss of the area. Go south from here and watch a cinema scene, before collecting the Treaty-Blade as a reward.

  Use the Save Crystal to transport yourself to the Port at Balfenheim. Go to the store called "Beruny's Armaments." Purchase a Kaiser Shield for 8300 gil.
