How to Get Hera's Necklace in God of War for PS2

The God of War video game gives you control over a character named Kratos. Inspired by Greek mythology, the game has Kratos out to defeat Ares, The God of War, before he destroys the city of Athens. In order to do so, Kratos finds several special items throughout his journey to gain power. Among those special items is Hera's necklace. Found in the Cliffs of Madness stage, Hera's necklace provides Kratos with the power needed to defeat Ares.

Instructions

- 1
  Access the Cliffs of Madness stage. The stage is accessible after defeating 13 prior stages in the game. The stage begins with you standing on a statue.

  Walk forward off of the stage onto a circular platform. Enemies named Satyrs will jump onto the platform to face you. Defeat the Satyrs with some of the attacks and special moves you've learned throughout the game. Move forward past the circular platform onto a bridge.

  Advance past the bridge. Turn right until you pass a statue. Behind the statue is a cracked wall. Break the wall using one of Kratos' special attacks. Go inside the newly created pathway.

  Walk through the pathway until you've reached the other side. Turn right, and walk until you approach a cave entrance that features a Minotaur statue. Enter this cave, and follow the pathway to advance. Although the cave is straightforward, you will face many enemies. Defeat them while walking through the end of the cave.

  Approach the statues of Hera and Aphrodite after exiting the cave. Using the ladder, drop down to the lower area. Jump onto the slider rope located in this area to enter the cave with Hera's necklace. Advance forward in the cave until you reach the rock puzzle.

  Complete the rock puzzle by arranging the rocks on the far wall in an interconnected pattern (similar to Tetris). Place every rock in the room squarely on the wall. Successful completion of the puzzle will reveal Hera's necklace.
