Things You'll Need
Instructions
Download and install PCSX2. Although there are two other PS2 emulators, neither of them is compatible with "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja." There are three ways to install PCSX2, the most straightforward of which is to use the "full installer."
Double-click on the application pcsx2.exe, which will be in the folder to which you saved the program. When you start the program for the first time, the configuration wizard pops up automatically. Since PCSX2 demands a lot of system resources to run, it's important to tailor its performance to your computer's capabilities.
Fill out the initial configuration prompts however you like. These choices do not affect game performance.
Select the graphics plugins you want to use. The preferred selection is GSdx. If that doesn't work for your system, ZeroGS works as an alternative. (You'll be able to switch to it by clicking Configuration and opening the wizard from the main window.) Once you've selected your graphics plugin, click "Configure," and fill out the remaining options. Only choose DirectX10/11 if you're running Windows Vista or 7. Under "Renderer," select "hardware" for the best speeds. If it doesn't work, choose "software." Under "Scaling," choose "native" for the fastest speeds. For more crisp graphics, specify your screen's resolution under D3D.
Choose your sound plugin. The best option is SPU2-X, though if it doesn't work, you can use ZeroSPU2. Click "Configure." Under "Interpolation," choose "nearest" for speed and "Catmull-Rom" for quality. Under "Module," choose "DirectSound" if you're running Windows XP, or "X Audio 2" for Vista and 7. Under "Synchronizing," choose TimeStretch."
Insert "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja," in your DVD-ROM drive and wait ten seconds. Under PCSX2, click "File" and then "Load from DVD drive" to start the game.
