How to Beat the Blast-Ended Skrewts in the Harry Potter Game

"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" was released by Electronic Arts in 2005 and is available for the PSP, PS2, Xbox, Nintendo DS, GameBoy Advance, Wii and PC. The game is based on the film and book of the same title. You control Harry Potter and fight your way through the Triwizard Tournament. One of the enemies you will come across is the Blast-Ended Skrewt, a dangerous creature that is difficult to defeat unless you know its weak spot.

Instructions

- 1
  Circle the Blast-Ended Skrewts and dodge their attacks until you are up against a wall at some distance from them. They move fairly quickly, so try to get a feel for how they move and time your dodges well.

  Wait for the Blast-Ended Skrewts to start charging toward you. Dodge their attack at the last moment so that they crash into the wall behind you. They will be stunned for a few moments.
- 3
  Run around to the other side of the Blast-Ended Skrewts so you are standing behind them. Attack them from behind with any of your jinxes until they get back up. Repeat the attack pattern until they are destroyed.
