How to Get Windows to Run PS2 Games

Normally, PS2 games cannot be run on Windows-based computers due to the incompatible system components. With PS2 emulator software, though, you can play PS2 games on the computer without having to utilize the PS2 console.

      Download and install PS2 emulator software onto the computer (See Resources). Follow all prompts to complete the installation. Restart the computer if needed.

      Launch the PS2 emulator software by clicking on the .EXE file. Click "File" and select the option to run the CD/DVD.

      Place the PS2 game into the computer's CD/DVD drive.

      Click the "Emulation" tab on the emulator software and click "Go" or "Run."

      Click "Debug," "Initialization" to ensure that the game runs error-free. Repeat these steps for any PS2 games you wish to play on the computer.
