How to Find All Apartments to Buy in GTA: Vice City

One of the keys to surviving in the criminal underbelly of "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" is having somewhere to lay low between crimes and a way to save your game. This is what the safe houses are for. Each of them is an apartment or hotel room you can purchase access to as you play. Purchasing access means you can use these apartments to store your goods and vehicles between playing sessions. If you would like to purchase them all, you need at least $41,500 in-game cash, but you only need to buy the ones you want.

Instructions

    • 1

Load "Vice City" and you will start in the last apartment you made a save in. If you haven't unlocked any new apartments, you will likely be in the "Ocean Beach Hotel."

    • 2

Travel to the "Skumhole Shack" on the roof of a downtown building north of the biker bar. When prompted, press "X" to purchase the unit for $1,000 (in-game).

    • 3

Go to Vice Point mall, and head slightly north from there to find "3321 Vice Point." This apartment costs $2,500.

    • 4

Visit Ken Rosenberg's office in Washington Beach. Across the street is the $3,000 apartment, "1102 Washington Street."

    • 5

Go to the Leaf Links golf course, and you will find the "Links View Apartment" east of the course and west of the police station. This luxurious, $6,000 apartment has a garage for one of your "acquired" vehicles.

    • 6

Go to the south end of Ocean Beach, to the tall tower, where the "Ocean Beach" apartments are located. The building is a fine, $7,000 accommodation with one garage for your favorite car.

    • 7

Head to Vice Point, south of the mall and near the police station, you will find "El Swanko Casa" an $8,000 apartment with a pool, garage and assault rifle.

    • 8

Stop at Hyman Memorial Stadium. At the east block of the building, you'll find the "Hyman Condo," the most expensive apartment at $14,000. The building has three garages and a helipad.
