How to Get a Jetpack on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" was released in 2004 as the follow-up to "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City." In "San Andreas," players enter the world of CJ Johnson. When CJ isn't protecting his neighborhood or going on dates with his girlfriends, he is completing missions for various characters. CJ handles a variety of weapons and vehicles throughout the game, including a jetpack. To obtain the jetpack without cheating, you must complete one particular mission.

Instructions

  Play through the game until you get to the desert missions. Save the game and begin the "Black Project" mission.

  Watch the cutscene in which Truth asks you to retrieve an object called the Black Project from Area 69. After the cutscene, sneak toward the control tower of Area 69. Watch for security guards and search lights.

  Head to the yellow dot on the map, and shoot the air duct opening on the floor. Enter the air duct and continue into Area 69.

  Kill any security guards along the way to the control room. Using the control panel, deactivate the building's security features.
- 5
  Follow the blip on your map and enter the launch bay, which houses the Black Project. Kill all security guards in the launch bay.
- 6
  Collect the Black Project, which is the jetpack. Equip the jetpack and return to Truth.
