How to Download Camo for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater in PS2

"Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater" was released by Konami in November 2004 to consistently excellent critical reviews. Continuing the long-running "Metal Gear" series, you are tasked with infiltrating an enemy camp and finding information on a new weapon of mass destruction. Different outfits and weapons were available for download until early 2008, but knowing how to download these items will still be useful if Konami ever re-opens the service to the general public.

Instructions

  Insert "Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater" into your PS2. Establish an Internet connection. Select the "Special" icon from the main menu.

  Select "Camouflage Download" from the next menu that comes up. Read the disclaimer and the terms and conditions. Hit "Accept" to move onto the next screen.

  Clear room from your memory card if you don't have enough free space for the download; it will let you know how much you will need. Select the "Yes" button after reading the legal disclaimers. Select the memory card (if you have more than one) where you would like to store the downloaded data.

  Select the given "Network Configuration" name once it is displayed and wait for the list of downloadable camouflage to appear. Select the camouflage you would like to see by moving the "D" pad and then hitting the "Circle" button to view it. Select "Yes" to download the camouflage that you have chosen; select "No" if you are not happy with your selection.

  Wait for the message "Camouflage Download Successful" to appear on the screen after the download bar has filled up. Choose the memory card again where you would like to save the new camouflage. Select any of the newly downloaded camouflage options during gameplay to use them whenever you'd like.
