How to Save the Legend of Dragoon on a Sony PS2

"The Legend of Dragoon" is a dark fantasy role-play game for Sony PlayStation. The game sends players on a quest to defeat an ancient evil using the power of a race of dragons who have allied themselves with human beings. As "The Legend of Dragoon" is far too long to complete in one sitting, save points are located throughout the game. These allow you to save the game to a PlayStation memory card, even if you are playing the game on PlayStation 2.

  Insert a memory card designed for the original PlayStation into the left memory card slot of your PlayStation 2. These cards are identified by their broadly rounded corners, whereas the PlayStation 2's memory cards have sharper, almost square corners.

  Turn on your PlayStation 2. Insert the "Legend of Dragoon" game disc into your PlayStation 2 to boot the game.

  Select "New Game" and play until you reach a pool of glowing light, indicating a save point. The first of these is located close to the game's start point, to prevent players having to replay the game's intro sequence.

  Press "Triangle" to bring up the menu, which contains a "Save" option only accessible when standing in the light of a save point. Choose "Save," highlight "Memory Card (Slot 1)" and press "X." Press "X" again to save your game.
