How to Unlock the Fourth Hokage in Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3

"Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3" is a mission-based action game for the PS2 system with 41 playable characters from the "Naruto" manga. Players must accomplish various tasks throughout the game to unlock these different characters. When the player unlocks 40 of the 41 characters, they automatically unlock the 41st character, the Fourth Hokage, Yellow Flash. A simple code will unlock 39 of these characters, leaving the player only one to unlock before unlocking the Fourth Hokage.

Instructions

  Input the following code at the game's main menu: Hold the "R1" and "L1" buttons and press "Square," "Triangle," "Square," Triangle." Release "R1" and "L1," hold the "R2" and "L2" buttons, and press "Right," "Up," "Right," "Up" on the directional pad. Release the "R2" and "L2" buttons and press the "R3" and "L3" buttons. You will hear a sound notifying you that you have successfully unlocked the 39 characters.

  Play through the game and locate the merchant who sells goods in the Leaf Village Center. Purchase the perfume set from him for 5,000 Ryo.

  Jump onto the roof of the Shushuya building. Hanabi, the 40th character, should be there waiting for you. If she is not, select the "Map Movement" option from the pause menu and travel to the Training Field. Return to the Leaf Village Center and check the roof again. Repeat this until Hanabi appears.

  Talk to Hanabi and give her the perfume set. She will disappear afterward.

  Run through the village center until you run into Hanabi again. Naruto will take her to the Shushuya where he will offer to pay for the item she needs for her father. She will disappear again afterward.

  Return to the roof of the Shushuya building until Hanabi appears there again. Speak to her on the roof.

  Purchase the pricey perfume set from the merchant for 10,000 Ryo. Return to the roof and give Hanabi the pricey perfume set. She will disappear afterward.

  Run through town until you find Hanabi. Talk to her to begin the dating sequence. After the dating sequence, you will have unlocked Hanabi as a playable character. Upon unlocking Hanabi, the Fourth Hokage will unlock as a playable character as well.
