Instructions
Starting up the Scenario
Start up Resident Evil: Outbreak and select the "Single Player" option on the Start menu.
Select the Hellfire scenario and then select the character that you wish to use in this game level.
Check the guide map as soon as the opening scene finishes. Press the triangle button to bring up a map and use it to locate your position and the next game objective. Check beside the corpse located in the northwest corner of the courtyard; there will be a green herb there. Open the doorway leading to the boiler room.
Check the fireman's body to trigger a cut scene and to find a shotgun. Normal mode has an iron pipe rather than shotgun. Collect Charlie's and Len's ID tags.
Choose between climbing the boiler room ladder or return to Apple Inn Square.
Apple Inn Square Route
Turn and travel to your character's left and open the only other accessible door. Go left again and look for a blue herb behind the bend in the hallway. If you are on the very hard difficulty, do not open the door or a back draft will come in that will kill or endanger your character.
Kill the zombies by the bed and collect the red herb hidden between them. Combine this herb mixture to make a more powerful herb. If in easy mode, you can collect an iron pipe in the bathroom. Return to previous room and climb down the window and collect the green herb on the edge. Scoot over and ignore all the obstacles such as the banging zombie, the fire window and the crows. Climb down the ladder and open the door found there.
Ignore the zombies and travel to your left. Ignore the first door and try the second door on your left. Collect the blue herb, handgun, 45 auto rounds, Janitor's daily report and the battery. Use David to combine the battery and iron pipe into a stun gun. Alyssa can open a locker and receive an item.
Exit the room and run to a door at the west end of the hall. Check the room for first aid spray, green herb and antivirus. Open the door in the southeast part of the hall. Run south down the corridor to the only other accessible door. Open it. Collect the items and open the next door. Collect the security room card key and return to the door that requires the card key. Unlock the double doors with the card key.
Collect the gold relief key from the new partner and continue along with the game. Power on the electrical ladder that leads to the front lobby room with the silver relief key. Collect the red jewel in that room and return it to the statue where you will insert it into the statue's chest. This will open another room. Check the corners and junctions for extra items. Stock up and prepare for a boss battle. Head north to fight the Regis Licker. Dispatch the lickers quickly with a grenade launcher or shotgun. Travel north again to finish the scenario.
Boiler Room Ladder Method
Run over to the door that has the corpse blocking and wait for the corpse to move out of the way. Go through the door and on your left toward the south you'll find a handgun. The first door at end of hall is locked, so run over the flames and continue down the hall.
Go up the stairs and pick up the ammo found in the middle of the stairs. Enter the first door on the right. Collect the various items in the room before continuing on to the puzzle. The map of Europe on the wall is a puzzle that you need to complete by lighting up all the pieces of the puzzle.
Head back to Room 204 and check the Knight statue there to acquire Gold Key. Head up the northeast corner and enter that door taking the stairs. Head downstairs to first floor and crawl under the air duct to find shotgun ammo.
Open the double doors and kill the zombie guarding the shotgun. Pick up the shotgun and return to the stairs to climb up to the third floor. Open the door closest to the door you just entered and kill the two zombies wandering around.
Collect the items in the linen room and check the security journal for the code to open the security room. Run to the security room and enter the passcode, which can be either 0721, 2287, 5128 or 6354. Enter the security room and collect all the items you find here.
Push the library book case to reveal a statue where the red jewel can fit into. Locate the red jewel by following the path to the northwest room. Jump down on the crate and continue on the path. A licker is there and you might have to dispatch of it. Collect the shotgun and continue down the path.
Open the door with the silver key and continue traveling until you reach the third floor after climbing a couple of stairs. In Room 306, take the red jewel from the decorative tree. Backtrack all the way to the security where the library bust is and put the red jewel into the stature near the book case.
Enter the next room and check the corners and junctions for extra items. Stock up and prepare for a boss battle. Head north to fight the Regis Licker. Dispatch the lickers quickly with a grenade launcher or shotgun. Travel north again to finish the scenario.
