How to Copy PS2 Games Using DVD Decrypter

DVD Decrypter is a DVD backup program that allows you to both rip an image of the DVD to your hard drive and burn that image to a blank DVD. The program also allows you to do the same for Playstation 2 games. Backing up your PS2 games means you can store your original copies for safekeeping and let the backups take the wear and tear from playing them. In order to play your backed-up games you must have a modded PS2, but assuming you have that, backing up the games with DVD Decrypter couldn't be quicker.

    • 4

Insert your PS2 game into your computer's optical drive. Wait for DVD Decrypter to recognize the disc. Choose the directory to which you would like to save the image file of your PS2 game.

    • 5

Click the large "Copy" icon found in the bottom left corner of DVD Decrypter window. The program will begin copying an exact 1:1 copy of your PS2 game to your computer's hard drive. Wait for the program to finish and eject your PS2 game.
