If you haven't done so yet, download and install DVD Decrypter to your computer. Refer to the Resources for a link to the program.
Open DVD Decrypter and wait for the main screen to pop up.
From the top menu bar in the main DVD Decrypter window, click "Mode." Select "ISO Read" from the drop-down menu that appears.
Insert your PS2 game into your computer's optical drive. Wait for DVD Decrypter to recognize the disc. Choose the directory to which you would like to save the image file of your PS2 game.
Click the large "Copy" icon found in the bottom left corner of DVD Decrypter window. The program will begin copying an exact 1:1 copy of your PS2 game to your computer's hard drive. Wait for the program to finish and eject your PS2 game.
Insert a blank DVD into your computer's DVD burner. The PS2 has a hard time reading DVD+R media, so DVD-R media is recommended.
Click on "Mode" from the top menu in DVD Decrypter and select "ISO Write" mode. Click on the folder icon in the main window and select the image file of your PS2 game.
Click on the "Write Speed" icon in the lower right corner of DVD Decrypter's window. Select "1X" from the drop-down menu. The PS2 occasionally has difficulty reading discs written at higher speeds, so "1X" is the the recommended write speed.
Click the "Write" icon in the lower left corner of your DVD Decrypter window and wait for the program to burn the image to your blank DVD. When the program finishes, eject your disc.
